Group Show "Single Fare 2: Please Swipe Again"

This is painted on an actual metrocard that I used to get on the subway for the show "Single Fare 2: Please Swipe Again" that opens in Sloan Fine Art on March 17, 2011.

 And here are the pictures from opening night.  My piece is above and to the right of the group of mostly yellow and blue cards.  It was really neat to see the way they were grouped and organized.

 These next few are some that I really liked from various artists that live here in NYC.

 This was my favorite grouping of paintings--all figures in different lying poses.  These were done by Samuel Evensen.

As you can see, so many people turned out for the show that not only was the gallery packed, but people were basically blocking the street for traffic outside also--sort of like Black Friday at Staples.
