Here is a piece I have recently finished called The Young Carpenter. I was inspired by the idea that Christ was always in communication with his Heavenly Father, even as a teen working with the tools and trade of his father Joseph. I like to think that revelation and communication with our Father in Heaven comes when we are being obedient and even as we are working. Some of my most spiritual, meditative personal moments have occurred while I create in my studio, and I think the same can apply to all us. We just need to be open.
